Test mold when it appears to make certain that you do not have a silent killer in your home.

Molds can affect indoor air quality greatly. Mold can be found anywhere – and you don’t want it in your home! In humid conditions mold reproduces. When in an active growth phase, it creates MVOCs (Mold Volatile Organic Compounds).

Mold can cause allergic reactions and asthma, and people who have chronic lung disease are especially susceptible to mold infections in their lungs.

Common places to find mold:

  • Leaking pipes, windows and roofs
  • Basements
  • Tightly sealed buildings (such as new construction)
  • Poorly ventilated homes

Mold can grow between walls, under floors and ceilings – it can grow in just about any damp area.
