  • That all homes in the U.S. be tested for radon.
  • Tell your family and friends about the health risk of radon. Encourage them to test their homes.
  • If you are considering buying a new home, look for builders who use radon-resistant new construction.

If 1,000 people who smoked were exposed to this level over a normal lifetime.

At 20pCi/L – About 135 people could get lung cancer – This is 100 times the risk of drowning.
